I had a lot of ambition Saturday morning – and was intent on making chicken pot stickers. We’re not big pork eaters around here (pigs are cute….although sometimes we lose the battle to bacon and when we’re with my Vietnamese relatives), and it’s hard to find chicken pot stickers. I don’t make them too often, but when the craving kicks in, I’m on it. So I started mixing together the dough (I use Andrea Nguyen’s recipe because she’s my cooking guru), hit Record on my camera….and that’s as far as I got because then a text inviting us to dinner came through, so then I thought, This will have to be lunch or dinner for another day. (That really means that my craving wasn’t that strong.)

P.S. I did end up making pot stickers on Sunday but was so tired that I didn’t even try to pull out my camera. Next time I’m going to have to make extra, so that I can freeze them and eat them in a timely manner when the craving returns. Oh, and take a picture of them too. 🙂
